This combination of flavors was actually really delicious. I didn’t have the avocado on hand so I left it out. And I didn’t bake it, made it on the stove. I eyeballed the ingredients for a single serving. I added some sharp cheddar at the end. I will definitely try it again! And probably add the avocado (honestly it doesn’t even need it).

This was so good! It was quick and easy to make, but loaded with flavor! I put it over a small bed of rice and savored every bite. Thank you for sharing your recipe

Hi Mary,

thanks for the comment.
I think that will work pretty well too, why don't you just give it a try? ;)

Maybe bake it for around 35-45 minutes at 170-180°C :)

Best is to give it a taste and use how much you like :)
Of cumin, coriander, nutmeg & chili I only used a small pinch here if I remember correctly. Salt & pepper around 2-3 teaspoons, better go with less and add more after tasting ;)

We love the moon bites!!! I buy a small bag for $3.79 a bag!!! So my daughter, grand daughter and I tried to make them. We are all very good cooks and my grand daughter goes to culinary school. We used 'gouda, smoked gouda, plain parm, pecorino romano, and sharp chedder'. We did try leaving some out to dry overnight. we tried 5 different ways and all were a flop!!! All we ended up with is lots of grease- grease doesn't dry. We will be buying a dehydrator We love dried fruits and veggies. If any one has found the secret to success please let us know. Our 5 try's did not make it!!! 1 or 2 fluffed up a little and did get over brown. I used the low and slow technique! It did not come out like the one in the video. Oh and we are getting a big new stove also...
